Greetings Friends of Blue Spring State Park! What a year 2020 has been....and here’s to hoping 2021 is significantly better. I wanted to let you know what the Friends have been up to this past year. Although we have been fairly quiet this past year, due to the pandemic, we brought in just over $10,000 – primarily via the 2020 Manatee Festival, firewood sales, donations, and the Penny Press (now conveniently located in the Gift Shop). We funded a $10,000 renovation of the ranger station (rangers now have a bump-out window for collecting entry fees (especially nice when it’s raining!)...
