MANATEE WALK & TALK WITH WAYNE HARTLEY

Join the Friends of Blue Spring State Park for a 1-hour Walk and Talk with Save the Manatee Club's Manatee Specialist Wayne Hartley. Wayne has been the primary manatee researcher at Blue Spring for over 35 years and he can identify over 300 individual manatees at the park.  Join us as we will stroll down the boardwalk and see manatees in the clear protected warm water at Blue Spring.

We will be meeting at 8:45 a.m. in the lower parking lot at Blue Spring State Park. The boardwalk stretches for about 1/4 mile from the St John's River up to the spring head.

This is a Members-Only event. Not a member yet? No problem! Join the Friends of Blue Spring ahead of time via our website or join the day off. Membership dues are $15/year for individuals or $25/year for families and include 12 free visits to the park, our quarterly e-newsletter and free access to our Members-Only Events.
