2023 Christmas Parade

Join us for the 2023 Orange City Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
The Friends of Blue Spring are partnering once again with Save the Manatee Club and we'll have Hope, the luscious inflatable manatee, on her float.
We need volunteers to walk, ride and hand out stickers along the parade route.
PREP LOGISTICS:
Anyone interested in helping with float preparations, please join us on Friday, December 8th from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the park's maintenance shop.
PARADE DAY LOGISTICS:
Saturday, December 9th:
Please join us as we place all the final touches on the fire truck, Hope's float and the kabotas from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the park at the shop.
We will travel as a group on Saturday December 9th to the starting location at 4:00pm. Please plan for us to be finished by 8:00ish as we will need to breakdown the float and trailer back in the park.
Please wear fun apparel with themes of Christmas/holiday, gingerbread, manatee or ranger/volunteer uniforms!

I’m working on Friday and won’t be able to meet for float prep, but I’m available Saturday evening for the parade.
I am resident volunteering at Blue Springs SP. Would love to help and participate.
Excited to meet those of you I don’t know!
I’m available on the 9th and 10th.
